Softball Recap: George Washington Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for George Washington's offense. They lost 8-0 to the St. Albans Red Dragons on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Patriots have suffered against the Red Dragons since May 5, 2023.

George Washington's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for St. Albans, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

George Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Albans, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th.
