Basketball Recap: Lake View Takes a Loss

Lake View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were dealt an 81-9 loss at the hands of the Liberty Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1296th, while the Patriots are ranked 288th).

Lake View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Liberty, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Lake View will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Big Spring at 6:15 p.m. Lake View is facing Big Spring at the right time seeing as Big Spring is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will head out to take on Levelland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Levelland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Liberty surely won't give up without a fight.
