Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Roman Wilder's Big Game Leads Canterbury over Oasis Christian

Starting off the list is Canterbury's Roman Wilder, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Wilder rushed for 253 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. Those 253 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Canterbury pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Wilder will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Lakeside Christian on Friday.

Ahmad Crumity was instrumental in extending Shorecrest Prep's winning streak to 19 on Friday. Crumity picked up 124 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 receiving yards dating back to last season.

Shorecrest Prep picked up their 19th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nickolas Bearden. Bearden was dynamite, throwing for 182 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 67 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.

Unfortunately for Sports Leadership & Management, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Bearden. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Bearden saw the Spartans), he rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 116 yards and three touchdowns.

Mitchem Made His Presence Known in Shorecrest Prep's 63-0 Win

Edward Mitchem was instrumental in extending Shorecrest Prep's winning streak to 19 on Friday. Mitchem was dynamite, rushing for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

Mitchem must have Sports Leadership & Management's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Mitchem rushed for 28 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Spartans duked it out back in October of 2023.
