Forsyth Home Educators came tearing into Friday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Clarke Stem tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Parker Broadus was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Holley, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Forsyth Home Educators was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as TEACH Homeschool only posted a batting average of .167.

Forsyth Home Educators' record now sits at 9-3. As for TEACH Homeschool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forsyth Home Educators will head out to square off against Chatham HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for TEACH Homeschool, they will venture away from home to challenge Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
