Football Recap: Hardin-Jefferson Comes Up Short

Hardin-Jefferson lost against Lumberton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks came up short against the Raiders, falling 45-20. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Hardin-Jefferson is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. As for Lumberton, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Hardin-Jefferson will challenge Vidor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lumberton, they will square off against Livingston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
