Volleyball Game Preview: Plainfield Central Wildcats vs. Bolingbrook Raiders

Plainfield Central is 0-3 against Bolingbrook since May of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Wildcats will welcome the Raiders at 4:30 p.m.

Two weeks ago, Plainfield Central came up short against Addison Trail and fell 2-0.

Plainfield Central was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22.

The losing side was boosted by Chris McCauley, who had eight assists and seven digs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bolingbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Lockport on Tuesday.

Bolingbrook not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lockport between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19.

Plainfield Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bolingbrook, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.
