Baseball Game Preview: White Knoll Timberwolves vs. Chapin Eagles

White Knoll hasn't had much luck against Chapin recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Timberwolves will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

White Knoll is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Chapin on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2.

For Chapin's part, Mac Berry tossed a big game, striking out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Those 13 strikeouts gave Berry a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Felix Flecha Ruiz, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

White Knoll now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Chapin, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
