Soccer Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bradford Prep, Northwest Cabarrus was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets. Considering Northwest Cabarrus' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

CJ Hoskins and Miguel Zarate scored all four of Northwest Cabarrus' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Northwest Cabarrus' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Forest Hills, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Looking ahead, Northwest Cabarrus will challenge A.L. Brown at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest Hills, they will take on Community School of Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
