Pilot Rock took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Sherman, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rockets had just enough and edged out the Huskies 8-6. The Rockets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Carrer VanHouten was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Hunter Fitzpatrick was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Pilot Rock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Pilot Rock's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Sherman, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
