Baseball Recap: Boron's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After flying high against Frazier Mountain on Friday, Boron came back down to earth. The Bobcats lost 9-3 to the Bishop Union Broncos on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered since March 25, 2024.

Boron saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Gartica, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Gartica is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

With the defeat, Boron broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-6. As for Bishop Union, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
