Baseball Recap: Hanover-Horton Gets the Win

Hanover-Horton proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 13) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Homer Trojans 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-1 back in April.

Brady Pond was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Hanover-Horton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Homer, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

As of now, neither Hanover-Horton nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
