Soccer Recap: Honeoye Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waterloo last Thursday, Honeoye came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 8-1 to the Naples Big Green Machines on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Honeoye of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Honeoye now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Naples, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Honeoye will venture away from home to challenge Dundee/Bradford Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Naples, they will head out to square off against Arkport Central/Canaseraga at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
