Thompson might be getting used to good results now that the team has eight wins in a row. Everything came up roses for them against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood two weeks ago as the team secured a 48-6 win. Among those leading the charge for Thompson was senior Cadyn Schwabe, who rushed for 187 yards and 4 touchdowns. Schwabe has been a consistent playmaker for Thompson as this was the 8th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, LaMoure/Litchville-Marion put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Saturday. They steamrollered Larimore 48-6. The rankings were on LaMoure/Litchville-Marion's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
Their wins bumped LaMoure/Litchville-Marion to 5-4 and Thompson to 8-0. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
