Volleyball Recap: Chagrin Falls Triumphs

Chagrin Falls won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Blue Streaks by a score of 2-0.

Chagrin Falls never let Madison on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22.

Siena Farah paced Chagrin Falls' offense, picking up six kills. Farah got some help from Molly Nightwine and her ten assists. Nightwine was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Despite the loss, Madison saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kami Titman had 11 assists and seven digs.

Chagrin Falls now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Madison, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chagrin Falls will face off against Hawken at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Blue Streaks surely won't give up without a fight.
