Volleyball Recap: Grossmont Comes Up Short

Grossmont saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mission Hills Grizzlies. The Foothillers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexis Holman paced Grossmont's offense, picking up ten kills. Holman got some help from Mila Moyer and her seven assists. Imani Hayes controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Grossmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mission Hills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Grossmont has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Mar Vista on the 29th. As for Mission Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mater Dei Catholic on the 29th.
