Menard had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eden Bulldogs a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Menard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.4 points per game. As for Eden, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Coincidentally, Menard and Eden will both be playing Paint Rock the next time they take the court. Eden will host Paint Rock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Menard will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
