Volleyball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Blountstown

North Bay Haven Academy took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Blountstown Tigers by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Buccaneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: Blountstown scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 22-25, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Blountstown still got an impressive performance from Eden Mallory, who had 25 digs and six assists. Mallory has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more digs the last three times she's played.

North Bay Haven Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Bay on the 21st. As for Blountstown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Florida State University High School on the 21st.
