Soccer Game Preview: Overland vs. Aurora Central

The Overland Trailblazers will take on the Aurora Central Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Overland managed to keep up with Adams City until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Trailblazers came up short against the Eagles, falling 4-1. Overland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Aurora Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to Thornton. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Aurora Central struggled afterwards.

Aurora Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Overland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Overland took their win against Aurora Central when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 4-1 score. Will the Trailblazers repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
