They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Madison Cubs 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Cubs: they've now won five in a row.

Floyd Central took Madison into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-14, 27-25, 23-25, 15-9.
