Volleyball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Cardinals. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Highland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Albany didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Potosi on the 20th. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Portage on the 20th.
