Volleyball Recap: Tonopah Comes Up Short

Tonopah had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mammoth Huskies. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The win was the third in a row for Mammoth, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Tonopah will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mineral County at 4:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Mammoth, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 23rd.
