Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rochester walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Litchfield Purple Panthers on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Rockets, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Rochester easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Peyton Zeidler paced Rochester's offense, picking up 18 kills. Zeidler got some help from Cami Tinder and her 27 assists. Tinder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Rochester's win bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Litchfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-24 record this season.

Rochester wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Riverton on the 30th. Litchfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
