Cannon kept a clean sheet against Gaston Day on Tuesday. They blew past the Gaston Day Spartans 8-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Their offense was hitting Gaston Day from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Kareena Blumer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Cannon now has a winning record of 1-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cannon will face off against Marvin Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gaston Day, they will take on The Burlington School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
