Garrett Reese posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Reese and Somerset will square off against Central Cambria at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are 7-2 against the Red Devils going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
