Softball Recap: Cathedral Catholic Comes Up Short

Cathedral Catholic was the 7-0 winner over Imperial when they last played one another back in April of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Dons fell 9-5 to the Tigers on Saturday.

Sina Talataina made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Anna Janis was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Cathedral Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Imperial, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Cathedral Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Valhalla on the 24th. As for Imperial, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Calexico on the 25th.
