Baseball Recap: Liberty County Takes a Loss

Liberty County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Calvary Day Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on Thursday.

Liberty County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Glemon English, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Liberty County's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Calvary Day, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Coming up, Liberty County will venture away from home to square off against Long County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calvary Day, they will take on Desert Oasis in a tournament on Monday.
