Football Recap: Loyola Academy Ramblers vs. Maine South Hawks
Loyola Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Maine South Hawks with a sharp 35-14 win on Saturday. Considering the Ramblers have won seven games by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Drew MacPherson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 181 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.
Loyola Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 276 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.
