After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, Prairie finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Cedar Falls Tigers by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Prairie in their meetings with Cedar Falls: they've now lost three in a row.

Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-3. As for Cedar Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-2 record this season.

Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedar Falls, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Ankeny Christian Academy on the 30th.
