Haddon Heights took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Moorestown, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Garnets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Quakers on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Garnets, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Haddon Heights now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Moorestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haddon Heights will challenge Gloucester City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Garnets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Moorestown, they will be playing at home against Rancocas Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Quakers surely won't give up without a fight.
