Volleyball Recap: Lone Pine Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lone Pine and Boron, and Boron kept the tradition alive. The Golden Eagles fell 3-1 to the Bobcats on Thursday. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in August of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-16, 16-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Lone Pine's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boron, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Lone Pine has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Bishop Union on the 26th. As for Boron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Riverside Prep on the 26th.
