Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brunswick). They breezed past the Mentor Cardinals to the tune of 109-70 on Friday. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Mentor's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tony Katava, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 14 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bernard Gnjatic, who posted 12 points.

Brunswick has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Mentor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Coming up, Brunswick will face off against Strongsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Strongsville sitting on four straight wins and Brunswick on 11. As for Mentor, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Glenville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Glenville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.
