Monticello's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Chapel Field Christian Lions by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on September 8th.

Monticello's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Chapel Field Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Monticello will head out to challenge Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chapel Field Christian, they will square off against Tuxedo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
