Basketball Recap: Lighthouse College Prep Academy Takes a Loss

The Lighthouse College Prep Academy Lions lost 72-48 to the Hebron Hawks on Tuesday.

Peter Socci was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 27 points and nine boards for Hebron. What's more, Socci also racked up three steals, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Spencer Wynsma was another key player, going 6 for 15 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds.

Lighthouse College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Hebron, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lighthouse College Prep Academy will welcome South Bend Career Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hebron, they will face off against 21st Century Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. 21st Century Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69 points per game this season.
