Softball Recap: Hornell Takes a Loss

Hornell fell victim to Wayland-Cohocton and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Hornell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wayland-Cohocton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Hornell will square off against Wellsville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they will face off against Livonia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
