Munford extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Oak Grove. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Tigers. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 games by six runs or more this season.

Munford's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 31-8-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Oak Grove, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 25-19 record.

Coming up, Munford will venture away from home to challenge Prattville Christian Academy at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oak Grove, they have already played their next contest, a 9-8 defeat against Tallassee on the 6th.
