Georgia phenom was invited to The Opening next month in Oregon.

His Twitter handle is @OPfreak15. Owen Pappoe, a MaxPreps freshman All-American in 2015 from Grayson (Loganville, Ga.), indeed has freakish athletic ability for a lad going into the 10th grade.

At 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, Pappoe registered 91 tackles in the regular season alone for the 13-1 Rams, who this season open the season No. 2 in the MaxPreps Early Contenders package.

Just how good is Pappoe? He was the first incoming sophomore ever invited to The Opening, the preeminent gathering of high school talent.

This year's event is July 5-10 at Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Ore. A handful of underclassmen are always invited, but Pappoe is the first sophomore.

Impressive stuff. So is high highlight tape.
