Palm Bay skates past West Shore with ease

Recap: Palm Bay Pirates vs. West Shore Wildcats

Make it five blowout wins for the Palm Bay Pirates this season. They took their game on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 51-5 win over West Shore. Winning may never get old, but Palm Bay sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Leading Palm Bay to victory were Jordyn Baker and Elliana Wallace. Baker scored 13 points, while Wallace scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baker has scored all season. Carleyssia Wallace was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Palm Bay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for West Shore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Palm Bay won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mainland at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. West Shore on the road again on Tuesday and play against Bayside at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th. Bayside's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so West Shore's offense will have their work cut out for them.
