Recap: College Achieve Knights vs. Ramapo Raiders
The College Achieve Knights entered their tilt with the Ramapo Raiders with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. College Achieve walked away with a 52-42 win over Ramapo on Sunday. The win was all the more spectacular given College Achieve's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Ramapo is ranked 32nd).
Ramapo lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Charlie Wingfield, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Wyatt Eglinton manner was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
College Achieve is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Ramapo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
College Achieve will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Lawrenceville School at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for Ramapo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hackensack at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hackensack has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three contests.
