Adding to the longest winning streak in Los Padres this week, Lompoc beat Cathedral 38-7. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Lompoc moved up to 84 from 141 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Andrew Jones' team was able to move up by besting the Phantoms 38-7.
Nipomo's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matt Albright threw for 182 and 2 touchdowns and Chris Owens had 61 yards receiving. On the ground Owens contributed 49 yards. Harrison Labastida helped Nipomo's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 54 yards.
Owens was the best receiver in the league this week as the Titans fell to Ventura. Owens racked up 4 receptions for 61 yards. Labastida helped Nipomo's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 54 yards.
Nipomo's Albright and Brandon Hettenhouser led Los Padres in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Albright has thrown for 2,648 yards this season, while Hettenhouser has 63 catches for 660 yards. Morro Bay's Tristan Collins leads the league in rushing yards with 1,532.
Russell Edwards' team lost to the Cougars 56-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Albright was a bright spot for the Titans, as he ran for 33 yards in the defeat.
