Murray County came into Thursday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Cass Colonels by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaydence Moses paced Murray County's offense, picking up six kills. Moses got some help from Josie Jones and her seven assists. Jordyn Farmer controlled things from the service line, finishing with 13 aces.

Murray County's win bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Cass, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-26.

Murray County has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Pickens on the 25th. As for Cass, they will take on Kell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
