Basketball Recap: Gaston Takes a Loss

Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Nestucca Bobcats, falling 64-41. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-23 back in January.

Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Nestucca, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gaston will head out to face off against Portland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nestucca, they are taking a road trip to square off against Vernonia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
