Baseball Recap: Lee's Summit West Comes Up Short

Lee's Summit West was the 6-0 winner over Park Hill when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. Titans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Trojans since on Tuesday.

Lee's Summit West's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Park Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Lee's Summit West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-0 victory against Raytown on the 16th. As for Park Hill, they will square off against Grandview at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
