Volleyball Recap: Destiny Christian Academy Triumphs

Destiny Christian Academy's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Grant Pacers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lions were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Pacers, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

While Destiny Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-11.

Destiny Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Grant, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Destiny Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Sheldon on the 27th. As for Grant, they will face off against Monterey Trail at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
