            It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Springboro had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Walnut Hills Eagles  2-1. Given Springboro's advantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Walnut Hills are ranked 65th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Morgan Demoss and  Keira Buckholtz scored both of Springboro's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

 Coming up, Springboro will square off against Seton at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Seton's defense has only allowed 0.4  goals per game  this season, so Springboro's offense will have their work cut out for them. Walnut Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
