Marquette has gone 9-1 against Seneca recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Crusaders will venture away from home to square off against the Fighting Irish at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Marquette has three straight victories, Seneca has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Marquette was able to grind out a solid win over Hall, taking the game 4-1.

Meanwhile, Seneca didn't have quite enough to beat Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn on Thursday and fell 5-4.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Marquette, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3.

Everything went Marquette's way against Seneca in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Marquette made off with a 9-0 win. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Fighting Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
