The Jefferson Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Decatur Golden Gators at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jefferson is looking for their season's first victory.

Jefferson had taken Federal Way down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Eagles, falling 19-12. Even if the Raiders couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Jesabella Arceo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-5. Karis Song also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Decatur made easy work of Beamer two weeks ago and carried off a 17-4 victory. The Golden Gators haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Kahea Sharpe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). Sharpe was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Audrey Deviney was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Davis-Thompson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Decatur always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beamer only posted an OBP of .375.

Decatur pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12 runs. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
