Baseball Recap: MacArthur Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pearce, MacArthur was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Irving Tigers by a score of 8-3. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Aaron Saenz was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Irving, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18-1.

MacArthur will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
