Basketball Game Preview: Glenwood Tigers vs. Greenup County Musketeers

The Glenwood Tigers will face off against the Greenup County Musketeers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Glenwood is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 15th on Thursday. They were dealt a 64-31 loss at the hands of Green. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Greenup County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Russell 75-33. While losing is never fun, the Musketeers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Red Devils are ranked 29th).

Greenup County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Glenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Glenwood came up short against Greenup County in their previous meeting last Thursday, falling 61-52. Can Glenwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
