Basketball Recap: Blair County Christian Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canaan Christian Academy, Blair County Christian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 42-37 win over the Lebanon Christian Academy Panthers.

Blair County Christian found their leader in sophomore Jonathan Marucci, who almost dropped a triple-double with nine points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. Marucci also posted eight blocks, which is notable because Blair County Christian is 2-1 when he posts at least five blocks, but 10-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Silas Marucci, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 15 points.

Blair County Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are 9-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

Blair County Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Lebanon Christian Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
