Basketball Game Preview: Red Lake Warriors vs. Cass Lake-Bena Panthers

Red Lake hasn't had much luck against Cass Lake-Bena recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Red Lake Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

Red Lake is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Saturday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Fond du Lac Ojibwe O.

Meanwhile, Cass Lake-Bena beat Perham 73-63 on Saturday.

Cass Lake-Bena's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Red Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Red Lake was dealt a bruising 99-37 defeat at the hands of Cass Lake-Bena when the teams last played back in February of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Red Lake was down 54-19.
